The Tree Care Industry is continuing to raise the bar on its safety and best work practices. At ElectriCom we realize the benefits of becoming certified tree care safety experts and in developing the best vegetation maintenance practice possible.
ElectriCom currently has 70 employees in its Right of Way (ROW) Division. Recognizing the importance of continuing safety and best work practices, the ROW Division is a member of several tree care organizations throughout the industry. ElectriCom is proud to announce that two employees have risen to the rank of “Certified Arborists” through the International Society of Arboriculture (ISA), and the ROW group is also working on obtaining their “Utility Contractor Accreditation” through the Tree Care Industry Association (TCIA).
According to the ISA, Certified Arborists are “individuals who have achieved a level of knowledge in the art and science of tree care through experience and by passing a comprehensive examination developed by some of the nations’ leading experts on tree care.” Those who have risen to the level of Certified Arborist must continue their education to maintain their certification and adhere to a Code of Ethics. This program has been instrumental for ElectriCom to remain current on the latest techniques in arboriculture.
While becoming certified is a voluntary process, ElectriCom is confident that the designation will allow us to continue to provide the best assistance possible for the companies we work for.
